winterburn is a London-based electronic artist and former psychologist creating melodic techno for overthinkers. After studying psychology in Dublin, his fascination with emotion, identity, and human behavior began shaping the foundations of his sound. But despite completing his studies, he found himself drawn toward something less clinical and more human: the shared emotional experience of music. Leaving behind his academic career, winterburn moved to Tenerife to fully immerse himself in music production. He spent years living in a tent, volunteering at surf camps, and producing obsessively day and night while developing his sonic identity. The result is a distinctive blend of emotionally charged melodies and aggressive, club-driven energy, balancing vulnerability with intensity. His breakout releases quickly gained traction online, with tracks like crush as you burn surpassing 1.8 million Spotify streams, alongside support from artists including Chris Avantgarde, Leblanc, and Mosimann. His productions have also been featured on BBC Radio 1 Introducing Dance with Jaguar. His latest single, where did all the emotion go?, has already racked up over 40,000 streams in its first month and continues to climb. He now follows it with his upcoming release You Just Have To Show Up on Of Us Records.
